Product Empties July 2017

Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil - On the pricy side but worth it. This is a great night oil I use about twice a week-which also helps the product last a long time. I find this is really great at getting rid of any texture I have overnight. I have repurchased this but in the smaller bottle

Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser - Still my favorite hair mask -  I have about 6 jars I bought off Amazon. This just helps my mend my split ends and my hair feels instantly softer after using it. I have three jars left to use.

Clinique Moisture Surge - I didn't like this face cream so I passed it off to my husband to use. He finished the jar but didn't like it either so I wont be repurchasing it again. I found it to be a wired gel formulation that left my face feeling very sticky and like there was a film residue on my face. I didn't like using it in the morning as I found my foundation would be patchy and awe foul.

Clinique Moisture Surge Intense - This is by far my favorite face cream. It is so different from just the regular moisture surge. It is an in between cream and gel formulation. It glides over your skin and it leaves your skin feeling velvety smooth. My makeup just glides on effortlessly when I have this face cream on and my skin feels extra hydrated.

Clinique All About Eyes - It's ok.....that's the best way I can describe this eye cream. It wasn't the worst eye cream I've ever used but it wasn't the best. I don't think I'll be repurchasing this again but I do want to try Clinique rich eye cream to see if that one would be better for my dry under eye area.

Jergens Moisture for Wet Skin - I love this lotion but I do prefer the Argan Oil over the Green Tea Oil. I have one Argan Oil formulation on the go and I have one backup for when I run out.

Mac Fix+ - LOVE this face spray. I use this after I powder, I find that even with my dry skin I still need to set my makeup otherwise it wont stay in place....but if I powder my face I look like I have a cake face. This takes that cake face away completely! That means I can powder and lock my makeup in but still look flawless. I have already repurchased two new bottles.

Josie Maran Whipped Mud Mask - I do love this mask when I feel my skin needs some extra moisture but it is very expensive. I haven't repurchased this mask as I am trying some cheaper options but if they don't work out I would defiantly go back to this mask.

L'Oreal Elnett  Satin Hairspray - Make sure if you ever try this to get the Extra Strong Hold UNFRAGRANCED. I can't stay the fragrance smell of this hair spray but I love the hold that this gives. I was so happy when I found the unfragranced formula and I don't think I would ever try another hairspray ever again. This is a strong hold hair spray that you can brush right out. It gives the perfect amount of hold but still allows your curls to bounce and look natural. Your hair will never look or feel crunch no matter how much product you put in.

February 2017 Favorites

Jergens Moisturizer For Wet Skin - I tend to skip moisturizing after my showers because I hate that sticky feeling when you get dressed afterwards. This is a quick way to moisturize while still in the shower and my skin feels silky smooth by the time I towel off.

Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser - This mask has come up in my March 2015 Empties, May 2015 Empties and June 2016 Empties  blog post. If you can't tell this is one of my most favorite hair masks! I did stop repurchasing it for a while as I was testing out some new ones but nothing compares to this. My hair always feel silky smooth after using it. This is getting more difficult to find so I bought a pack of 6 off of Amazon recently - so I'm good for a little while.

Guerlain L'or Pure Radiance Face Primer - This primer was also in my November 2016 Favorites and yes this is still the same bottle. I still stand by this primer, it makes my skin look amazing and foundation just effortlessly glides over it. You only need a very small amount - as you can tell I haven't used a whole lot since November so even though it is expensive it will last you a while.

Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation - This has been my go to foundation recently. I'm not a fan of the packaging as it is a dropper application but the actual foundation in the bottle is amazing. It is a sheer foundation that looks very natural and dewy. I find the color doesn't match me exactly so I mix in some Cover FX drops with it and the result is amazing. I always use this foundation when I know I'm going to be taking pictures as my skin looks airbrushed.

Drybar Triple Sec 3-in-1 - I've tried a lot of texture sprays and this one so far is my stand out product. It has just enough texture without leaving my hair feeling dirty and gritty. It does come out white but it doesn't leave a white cast in my darker roots. Plus it smells amazing!

Product Empties May 2015

Nivea Good-Bye Cellulite Serum - I've been trying to get my hands on this product for a few years now. It's very hard to come by where I live and unfortuantly I was dispointed when I finally did get a hold of it. This is nothing more than a gimmicy product like other cellulite products

Neutrogena Fast Absorbing Hand Cream - best hand cream ever! I work with a lot of paper and my hands get dried out very quickly, I always make sure I have a tube of this stuff on my desk

Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser - best hair mask ever! Yes I have already replaced this one

Adidas Fitness Fresh - best deoderant ever! I have already picked up another one

Calgon Ageless Bath Renewing Bath Pearls - I love taking baths, this bath product is a must have for me and I have already repurchased another one

Bed Head Superstar Volumizing Leave in Conditioner - this smells like cotton candy! It was one of my favorite leave in conditioners but I've been playing around with other brands and I've falling in love with so many others

Bath & Body Works anti-bacterial hand gel warm vanilla sugar - this stuff is great for keeping in your purse! I always have one on hand

Bio True multi purpose solution - I thought I would throw this in here, I'm a new contact wearer and I just love this solution. My eyes never feel dried out and if they ever do you can use this as eye drops

Lancome Di Facial double action eye makeup remover - so far favorie eye makeup remove I have found! I think I have 2 backup bottles on hand right now, I never want to be without this stuff

Stila smudge stick waterproof eye liner - I got this for free when I bought a Stila eye shadow pallete, it was an ok eye liner but not my favorite

Physicians formuala eye booster 2 in 1 boosting eyeliner + serum - I have tried other eyeliners but this is still my favorite!!! Something about this formula just goes on really smooth and doesnt budge an inch until I use my Lancome eye makeup remove. I have already repurahsed another one!

Product Empties March 2015

Getting rid of a couple of empty beauty products. Here is what I used up this month.

Sensationail gel polish removal kit - I can't remember how much this cost but it was a waste of money. These are basically nail wraps that help remove gel nail polish and while I LOVE this system there are cheaper nail wraps out there. Save your money and head over the Sally Beauty, I just picked up 100 wraps for under $7 and they work just as well.

Redken wave ahead & curvaceous ringlet- these were both great product when my hair was shorter but it doesn't work for me now that my hair is longer.

Alterna weightless whipped mousse - again this is a great product if you have shorter hair, not recommended for longer hair as it weights it down.

Living proof amp instant texture volumizer & style extender - I think I had one of these products in a blog post before. I haven't had much luck with this brand, they really don't seem to work well with my hair.

Garnier fructis damage eraser - this is the best hair mask I have ever used! This is about my third container and I have replaced the one in my shower with a new one plus I have an extra one on hand. This makes my hair so silky soft and I have noticed there is less damage to my hair. It feels very healthy and amazing after I use this mask.

NeoStrata lash enhancer serum - I didn't think that this product did a lot but now that I've stopped using it I've noticed a change in my lashes. I don't know that they helped them grow longer or faster but they seemed more conditioned. Mascara seems to go on smoother and I seem to use less mascara when I was using this product daily. Next trip to the drug store I'm defiantly going to be picked up another tube.

Tresemme 7 day smooth system - I didn't really noticed a difference when I used this product. Also the directions say to use 8-10 pumps which seems like a lot! My hair doesn't like a lot of product and this seemed to weight it down. I cut back to about 4 pumps which didn't weight it down but I also didn't notice a difference.

Lancome double action eye makeup remover- I think I already had this in a blog post before as well, it's amazing! By far the best eye makeup remover I've tried. I have a couple spares that I purchased because its that good.

That's it for this month! If you have any recommendations on products that I should try please leave them in the comments below.
