Blogtober Day 10 | New To My Makeup Collection From Sephora

Sally Hershberger 24K Root Envy Ultimate Root Boost - This has been a great root boost. My hair is really fine and very flat, I don't have a lot of volume at all to my hair. I've been using this after I get out of the shower and blow-dry my hair upside down.

Nars Lip Gloss (Chelsea Girls) - I have a few different color in the Nars Lip Gloss line. I've heard a lot of people talk about this color and I can see why. I love this shade of pink. Its a very nude pink that complements my natural lip color. It can be worn on it's own or over top of a lipstick.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo (Cool Taupe) - This isn't new to my collection but the color is. I love this powder and I was using Medium Brown. The color matched my natural hair perfectly but recently I've lighted my hair. The medium brown was getting way too dark for me now so I've switched to cool taupe. Perfect color for lighter hair.

Velour Silk Lash Collection - I got my first taste of these lashes from Sephora. These are great lashes and they are very durable. So far I've used my 3 times and they seem to have very little wear and tear on them.  You defiantly get bang for your buck.

What's new in your makeup collection? Tell me in the comments below

Blogtober Day 9 | 3 Day Refresh Round 2 Update

It's been about a month since my round 2 of the 3 Day Refresh. Good time for an update on how I'm doing and what's been going on lately.

If you are interested in reading about my round 2 experience check out my blog post 3 Day Refresh | Round 2.

I just did another set of measurements and I am very happy to say that I have kept all my results! In fact I've lost an addition inch off my thighs and wist in this past month. The only thing I can't compare is my weight...unfortunately my scale is broken and I haven't replaced it just yet. But weight isn't everything. Sometimes people focus too much on their weight and not enough on their overall results.

Since completing the 3 Day Refresh my energy level has been GREAT! I definitely think that my fitness level has everything to do with how my energy level is on a day to day basics. Energy and how you feel is everything.

If you  have any questions about my results or curious about something I didn't mention please feel free to leave questions in the comments below.

Have you tried the 3 Day Refresh? What's your experience been like? Feel free to share in the comments below.

Blogtober Day 8 | 10 Things I Do As A Beachbody Coach

What's a Beachbody coach? What do you actually do as a coach?

Here are 10 things I do as a Beachbody coach

1) Use the Beachbody programs - probably the  most important out of EVERYTHING. I don't just sell and tell other people to use these programs. I use, believe and have seen results myself from using these programs.

2) Drink Shakeology - Beachbody is more than at home fitness programs. They have a whole line of nutrition supplements and it's important as a coach to keep myself fit and healthy in order to encourage others to do the same. Practice what you preach.

3) Tell Everyone your a Beachbody coach - Get the word out there! A lot of my business at the start was all word of mouth. Tell everyone and anyone that you are a Beachbody coach.

4) Get on Social Media - The best tool at your disposal is social media. It's the best way to reach a lot of people and develop relationships with your customers. Get an account for everything you can Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat...Everything!

5) Invite people to try Beachbody programs - if you don't ask they wont try.

6) Invite people to join your team - In order to build a team of coaches you have to ask people to join your team. Share what being a Beachbody coach has done for you and what it could do for them.

7) Post of social media daily - it's not enough to just get a social media account you have to use it! Let people know that you are actively using Beachbody and actively coaching.

8) Connect with your team - Your team is a powerful tool. You have your upline to reach out to when you need help or advice. I have gotten so much help from upline over the past few months. My sponsor coach was there to get me started and work with me to get my team started.

9) Build your own team - if you want to be a business builder as a Beachbody coach -  the only way to do it is to build a team. If you want to know how or where to start ask your upline to help you get started and how to recruit coaches.

10) Help others get active, fit & healthy - I try to connect with at least 3 people every month and get them on track to get active, fit & healthy. I know 3 doesn't sound like a lot but not everyone is ready to get started on their fitness journey when I first start a conversation with them. Be patient and learn to listen and work with your customer to help reach THEIR goals. Everyone's goals are going to be different.

All Beachbody coaches are different. This is just my experience with the company and a few things that I do as a coach.

If you want to join my Beachbody team send me an email mspamblam@gmail.com and lets chat.

Blogtober Day 7 | Life update

What's new?

Here is a very short life update that I've been up to lately....since getting married in July life has been a BLUR.

We've been very busy wrapping up loose ends and most of my wedding stuff I'm selling online to re-cope the initial cost of the wedding. It takes a lot time to get ads up and organize selling everything off. We got our wedding pictures from our photographers which are amazing! Now the task of going through all the pictures and making sure that grandparents, parents and our other family members have copies to remember the day by.

In addition to that I've been a very busy Beachbody coach and loving it! It doesn't matter how busy I get I always make time for other people and coach them. In about 1 week I got to get certified to teach LIVE Beachbody classes....which I'm excited and nervous for. I've never done anything like this before so I'm not really sure what to expect.

Finally the last update - I'm moving very soon! Over the past year my husband & myself have been building a house. We finally got our letter saying it's almost done so we will be moving in very soon. This past week I've been a busy bee packing up the home we've had for the past 4 years....its been a lot of work.

Until next time

Blogtober Day 6 | Jaclyn Hill Fall Favorites Tag

This is a fall tag was created by Jaclyn Hill on YouTube. I've seen a few of these tags done so far and even though no one tagged me I really wanted to incorporate this into one of my Blogtober posts.

Here we go!

Favorite Candle
I did a post last week all about my new fall candles. If I had to just pick one out of that bunch I would say the Leaves candle from Bath & Body Works in my favorite.

Favorite Lip Color
My favorite lip color is nudes - all year round! I don't care on the season. Right now I'm loving Honey Love by Mac

Favorite Drink
Finally I've transitioned to hot drinks and I love to cozy up with some mint tea

Favorite Blush
Definitely has to be Makeup Geek Bliss!

Favorite Clothing Item
Riding boots, leggings and a long cozy sweater! If I want to get really cozy I will throw on a scarf to go with that.

Favorite Fall Movie
I've honestly been sooo busy I probably haven't been out to see a movie since spring time!

Favorite Fall TV Show
I love that all my TV shows are finally coming back on! Right now I'm loving 3: Grey's Anatomy, The Good Wife and Heartland.

Favorite Thanksgiving Food
TURKEY!!!

Favorite Halloween Costume
I'm not really big on celebrating halloween and I rarely dress up. When I do the costume has to be easy to move in and comfortable. I think my favorite costume was last year I went as a bank robber - jeans, stripped shirt, black mask and red lips!

If your reading this blog post then I TAG YOU! Either write and blog post or make a YouTube video and make sure to leave the URL in the comments below so I can read your tag.

Blogtober Day 5 | September 2015 Favorites

Makeup Geek eye shadows: I've heard of Makeup Geek for a long time but this is my first time buying from them. Now I have to ask myself...why have I waited so long? These eye shadows are amazing. Its really hard when you can't actually go into a store to test the quality and color before purchasing but I looked up swatches and did my research before buying-so far I've been very happy with my color selection. The top rows are regular eye shadows and the bottom row are the new duochrome shadows. I pretty much use this palette for my everyday makeup. I have had so much fun playing and putting together different looks. If you want to see a more in-depth blog post on these shadows make sure you are following me....I have a blogtober post coming up later this month on this palette.

Estee Lauder New Dimension Shape+Fill Expert Serum: Just recently I switched to this serum and I'm loving it. I haven't been using it long enough to tell if it's been making a difference but it's suppose to help shape your cheeks and jawline. I really need so help with my jaw line. My jaw is EXTREMELY round and I have to do a lot of contouring everyday to make it look more sharp. Hopefully this will help me with that.

Cover FX Custom Infusion Drops: I still love my custom cover drops so when I saw these infusion drops I knew I had to try them. I got the hydration and radiance drops. I use the hydration drops with my moisturizer and the radiance with my foundation. I love them both and if you have dry skin you will too. If you are more on the normal or oily side I would definitely stay away from these.

Shiseido Wrinkle Resist 24 Eye cream: I've been using this as my night eye cream for about a month...wow what a difference. I'm not that old yet but I've really struggled with my under eye area. I've started to get fine lines and bumps - nothing so far has been helping. Since I've started using this cream I've noticed that my fine lines are actually diminishing!

Sephora Mud Mask Purifying & Mattifying: Unfortunately for me I'm allergy to the GlamGlow masks. An employee at Sephora recommended this one to me and I'm very happy she did. I used about once a week and it really purifies and deep cleans my skin. This make is also great if you want to do a spot treatment....it gets rid of my spots instantly! I don't like using my hands to apply this so I use a Real Techniques Essential Foundation Brush. Plus the price point on this you just can't beat. This is mask is $24 and the GlamGlow is $76.

What were your favorite products from September?

Blogtober Day 4| Irresistible Me

I got presented with the opportunity to try Irresistible Me hair extensions and of course I said YES! This was my first time trying out hair extensions and I was very impressed. As soon as I tried these I fell in love with them instantly.

I choose from their Royal Remy Hair which is sooo soft and looks completely natural. When you place your order you get to customer EVERYTHING. First off you choose your color...the color that I picked was Royal Ash Blonde (#10). Then you pick the length you want the hair extensions. My hair is already pretty long so I was going for more volume look than length, I picked 18 inches as that's about the length of my hair currently. Finally you pick your weight. I choose 200grams which is the most amount you can order...again I was going for volume.

The 200 grams came with a VERY generous amount of hair. In total I got 10 pieces:
1 pc of 4 clips
2 pcs of 3 clips
5 pcs of 2 clips
2 pcs of 1 clips

The clips are amazing....I was so afraid that they would fall out but they actually sit very secure in your hair. Don't get me wrong it does take some time and practice to get these in and hid them under your hair so they don't peek through but as soon as you get that done you'll love the way they look.

Left: Before, Right: After
Keep in mind that I wasn't going for length and I will have to take these into a hair dress to even out the length so it blend better with my hair.  From the back there is a slight difference but not too much

 Left: Before, Right: After
The major difference is really shown in the front. Again the length is pretty much the same but I have WAY more volume in the crown...which is exactly what I was going for.

In the before and after pictures I didn't even use all the clip ins. All I have in is:
1 pc of 4 clips
1 pcs of 3 clips
2 pcs of 2 clips

If I really wanted even more volume I could have thrown them all in! Its great because this is so versatile. Depending on the look you are going for your could just throw in a few clip ins for a less volume look or if you want to go all out just put them all in....completely up to you.

Have you tried these extensions? What are your thoughts? Leave them in the comments below, I would love to hear your experience.

Blogtober Day 3 | Fixing Hot Roots

Picture above: before

Picture above: after

If you've ever gotten hot roots you know...its not cute! Recently I used Wella Permanent Liquid Haircolor in hi lift to lighten my brown hair. It worked out great.....well great except for the fact that my roots were a bright orange.

It didn't look too bad if I pulled my hair half up or pull&clip my bangs back. Leaving my hair down completely was absolutely a no go.

To fix this problem I used Wella Permanent Liquid Haircolor in 5A (light ash brown) with 10 volume developer. I only painted this on my hair at the roots and down for about 1 inch. I didn't let it sit for very long, about 10min.

Then I rinsed everything out and did a hair mask (for me this is a must after EVERY time I color my hair).

Voila! No more hot roots.

Blogtober Day 2 | Fall Candles

Welcome back to day 2!!

One of my favorite things to do when fall comes around is to stock up on fall candles.  I love fall scents and scenery, these candles fill my house with a warm wonderful aroma.

All these candles were picked up at Bath & Body Works....if you see anything you like I would hurry to the store soon! They normally sell out very quickly of the fall scents.

Starting on the top row going left to right:

White Barn Vanilla Bean - this is not a fall specific scent but both my husband & I enjoy vanilla so some sort of vanilla candles always ends up coming home with us

Marshmallow Fireside - if you love the smell of marshmallows you will love this scent. It smells exacting like the name is....like your toasting a marshmallow over a fire. You get the yummy smell of the browning marshmallow with the burning smoky wood and some sweet vanilla mixed in

Leaves - I think every YouTuber and Blogger has this candles...this is honestly my first time buying it. Every fall when I head in to buy my fall scents this one is already SOLD OUT! I was so happy to see that it was still in stock this year. This one is probably my favorite out of ll 6 and it's the one I am currently burning

Going from the bottom left to right:

Pumpkin Pecan Waffles: This one we picked up because they were burning it in the store and smelt sooo good! If you love the smell of waffles in the morning then you will LOVE this scent

Sweater Weather - this is candle to burn when you want to just cozy up by the fire. It has some great oils that just make me want to light a fire and cozy up with a good book

Brown Sugar Allspice - This one is a great scent if you like the smell of brown sugar. This makes your house smell like you've been baking treats all day...but really all you did was light a candle

Did you pick up any candles for fall? If you want to share what you picked up please leave it in the comments below, I would love to know what you're burning this season.

Tanks for stopping by!

Blogtober Day 1

Hello!

It's been too long. I have to admit I've gotten way off track with my blogging schedule.

To make up for the lack of posts I am challenging myself to Blogtober! What's Blogtober? Basically everyday for the month of October I will be posting on my blog...so by the end of this month I will have 31 blog posts. Crazy! I know, I know, it's going to be a lot of work and a huge commitment but I'm defiantly up for the challenge.

This month is going to be incredible busy for me. I have huge plans to advance my business (Beachbody coaching) and I am still packing and dejunking my house for our move - for those of you who don't know my husband and I have bought a house last year and we are just waiting for it to be build - which should be VERY soon.

All and all I am very happy to be doing Blogtober, the posts that are going to be going up are a little bit of everything! Little bit of beauty, fitness, and life updates.

If you have any suggestions for blog posts that you would like to see please leave blog pot requests in the comments below.

Please make sure you are following my blog so you don't miss any posts and make sure to check back tomorrow for day 2!
