Sensationail Gel Nail Polish Started Kit
I picked up the Senationail Gel Nail Polish Started Kit. I love my nails but it's always a pain when you spend so much time doing your nails and then they chip in two days. This kit claims to last two weeks so I decided to try it out and put it to the test.
This kit comes with a LED light, double sides nail buffer, lint free wipes, gel cleanser, gel primer, gel base & top coat, gel polish (the color I got is Raspberry Wine), manicure stick and directions.
The directions are very straight forward and easy to follow. From start to finish it took no more than 15 miniets and they were completly dry as soon as I finished....so dry to the point I wash doing the dishes about 5 min after!!! I was very impressed by that.
In addition to the started kit I also picked up the removal kit. I will say that these did come in handy when removing the gel but defiantly not necessary if you don't want to spend extra money. There are cheaper wraps that you can purchase that will do the exactly same thing as these do.
I also picked up the removal tool, I will say that this is amazing and works better than the manicure stick they include. This wasn't too expensive and you will never need to replace it, unless of course you happen to loose it.
In addition to the Raspberry Wine color I decided to pick up three more. Red isn't may favorite color so I decided to pick up some other colors that would suit me better. A couple of these were even on sale which makes it even better!

Okay, so now to answer the question you are probably all wonder about. How long did these gel nails last? It claims to last 2 weeks or 14 days. The picture above was taken on day 10!!! As you can see there is slight chipping and you can see my nails did grow a little in the 10 days but other than that it's not that bad.
My final thoughts, this is one of the best at home nail kits that I've tried! It was easy to follow, dried quickly and lasted a long time. I was impressed and I found that in the 10 days that I had this gel on my nails were able to grow and looked great once the gel came off. If you are looking for a at home gel kit this is the one I would recommend you try.

5 Big Fitness Tips
1) Schedule your workouts - being consistent and scheduling your workouts is a sure way to stay accountable. Don't count of the fact that you may have a spur of the moment urge to start working out every day.
2)Always warm up before stretching - I could do an entire blog post on this topic! A proper warm-up will prepare the body for your workout. It can increase blood flow throughout your muscles and makes them more elastic. It can give you a great range of motion for better movement and form during a workout. It will also increase mental focus and concentration, use your warm-up as a chance to zone in on what your goal of each workout is.
3)Stick with it - yes working out can be hard when your first start. It's important to stick with it, you will see results. Also did you know it takes 21 days to create a habit? Push yourself for 21 days to consistently workout, you'll notice that it will begin to be a part of your regular routine.
4)Hydrate during your workout - all of us sweat during our workout, which means you are loosing your water. Its important to make sure you are keeping yourself hydrated, dehydration can cause you don't get light headed and stop your workout. Depending on how long your workout is, you might what to think about adding some electrolytes to your water.
5)Fuel your body before, during and after working out - your body needs fuel and energy before you can start a workout. Make sure you are eating properly and not too close to your workout. During a workout keep yourself hydrated, depending on the duration of a workout you may or may not need extra nutrition. After a workout it's important to eat your recovery food within 30 min of your last hard interval...not 30 min for a cool down.

Physicians Formula Eye Booster Instant Lash Extension Kit
Yes another week, another makeup Monday, and another review on a lash product!! I went out to the drugstore on Friday and picked up the Physicians Formula Eye Booster Instant Lash Extension Kit.
This kit comes with a mascara and extensions, it supposed to be a 24 hour wear. Same consept as the Younique 3D mascara wear you brush on the mascara then the fibers and seal it with the mascara again.
The longer brush is the mascara and the shorter brush are the fibers.
The left eye in the above photo has one coat on the physicians formula eye booster and the right eye has nothing.

I will say that this mascara isn't as messy as the Younique mascara, however, the fibers do shed a lot more. After putting on the mascara make sure you have a powder brush near by to sweep over your face and brush the fibers off. I will say that through out the day they will not flake it's just when you initially put the fibers on. These fibers are also less dramatic than others that I have tried, however, I'm interested to see what a second coat could do! This mascara isn't clumpy at all and is very easy to work with.
Have you tried this product out? I recommend that you do! Tell me your thoughts.

P90X Update Week 9
Just a couple pictures from my Saturday workout. I know its been a while since I've posted pictures but I always forget to set up the camera when I'm working out. Its not the easiest thing to remember because I'm usually trying to focus on the workouts.
Week 9 is complete!! Whoot whoot!!
Not a lot to update this week, I'm very excited that I'm almost done. I've really enjoyed doing P90X but I am also looking forward to trying out a new BeachBody workout.
The main thing I have found difficult about this program is the time commitment. The workouts are about 1 hour to 1.5 hours everyday for 90 days. It's a huge time commitment to take on...especially when it falls over Christmas.
I have definitely enjoyed the program and I'm loving the results. I will say that I wish I would have had more commitment to complete more workouts as I think I would have seen many more results.
I'm still seeing lots of toning and every week I'm finding that I am able to life more weights or do more reps than the previous week. Not to mention I feel stronger from week to week. Along with feeling stronger I also feel more energized! It's a definite bonus to doing the program.
If you have any questions about the program or my progress throughout the program I would be more than happy to answer them. Just leave your question in the comments below.
Check back next week for my week 10 update!!

Younique 3D Fiber Mascara
I'm a little late to the party with mascara but oh well. Better late than never!! I recently went on a girls trip and someone I went with recommended that I give this mascara a try. She knows that I love me some lashes but I'm not a fan of false lashes.
You get two tubes in the package. The first is a gel that you use before and after the fibers (that's the longer tube). The shorter tube are the fibers.
The gel is black and pretty much looks like regular mascara.
The fibers are black which I really like, it blends into your lashes and the gel without any worry of them showing up funny.
The left eye I have the 3D mascara and the right eye has nothing...HUGE difference.
Even though I love this mascara I will throw out one caution...you have to practice putting it on!! This can quickly turn into a hot mess if you aren't careful. Don't expect to get this perfect on the fist try. I found that it transfers very easily and can get all over the place. It took me a few trys to figure how to best apply this on my eyes but now that I've perfected the technique it's a definite keeper.
Have you tried this mascara out yet? What are your thoughts?

Drugstore Haul January 2015
Happy New Year!!!!
This is the first post in 2015 for my blog. I'm starting off the New Year right with a drugstore haul. I was out of a few products so I ran to the drugstore to pick up a few things...plus I had a coupon that I wanted to take advantage of.
The first two items are for my baths. These were featured in my October favorites and I love them!
Next are just some cotton pads. These are the larger ones which I use to take off my makeup.
I finally ran out of my body wash, if you read my products I've used up in December 2014 you already know that I wasn't a fan of my last body wash. I wanted to try something new so I picked up this Dove one. If anyone has any recommendations of body washes I should try please leave them in the comments below.
Because I love testing mascaras, I saw a stand marked "new" for these mascaras and I had to try it out.
I also picked up a Maybelline pressed powder. These are great to sticking in your purse for a quick touch up.
A couple of essentials that I ran out of and needed to pick up.

Finally my favorite hair mask. This was also in my blog post of products I've used up in December 2014. In fact I love this hair mask so much that I picked up two so I have a backup.
What are your favorite drugstore products I should try??
