June Life Update | Ms Pam Blam & Blam Bombshell Fitness

Hey!

It's been a while since my last life update, June has been just a roller coaster ride of fun, stress and home projects.

If you saw my Facebook or Instagram post from today, I mentioned that I've missed a lot of my workouts this month.

The weather here finally cleared up and my husband & I took advantage of that to start building our fence. This is our first summer in our new house and there are a ton of outside projects we want to get done...but number one on the list was to get our fence up. What we thought would be a simple weekend project turned into a month long project. Let me tell you putting up a 54 foot fence was no picnic. It was a TON of manual labor and being a non stereotypical housewife I pitched in as much as my husband did when it came down to the actual work.

I feel that being a non stereotypical housewife gets me a lot of weird stares thrown my way when we're out working in our yard. People find it very hard to believe that I pitch in as much as I do when it comes to hard manual labor but it just how I was raised...everyone pitches in and helps when it comes to big projects like that.

Our fence is about 90% done, there are a few final touches we need to put on it.

The days that we spend on the fence were long and exhausting. There were many times that I would collapse at the end of the day into bed and fall asleep for a good 12 hours. Working out was out of the questions. But now that we are wrapping up the project I am getting back into the swing of things!

You would also know if you follow me on Facebook that my home business with Beachbody has been very quit. There have been little to no posts on my page and that's of course because my time has been directed else were...but I'm back now! Super excited to gear up my business and run some new online fitness groups!!

Big things are going to be happening in July! It's hard to believe that June is already over but July has to be my favorite month of the year. It's the month that I got married, it's my birthday month, the weather is always hot, there are a ton of festivals and events to go to, plus it's a great time to take summer vacation!

Leave in the comments below...what are you looking forward to in July?

What's In My Shower? | Shower Products

I always love reading other beauty blogs and finding out what's in other people's shower. I find that I get to discover and learn about so many products that people use everyday, it's helped me discover some holy grail products. As you can see I like to keep several different products in my shower - I really like to mix things up so I have options for shampoos, masks, ect. My hair is always changing and sometimes my needs when I shower differ day to day.

Starting with shampoos, I like to keep three on hand. First is my purple shampoo Ion Cool Blonde, this is a great shampoo and it helps tone my blonde hair when I see it going a little brassy. This isn't something that I use everyday because I don't want my hair to get discolored but I use it about 2-3 times a week. Next is the Moroccanoil Moisture Repair Shampoo, this is a great shampoo for moisturizing my dry hair. My hair has always been dry but since going blonde I feel like I've stripped the moisture right out of it. This helps replenish my hair and it really feels soft after I use this. Finally I have the Avalon Organics Clarifying Shampoo, this is a great clarifying shampoo. Whenever I feel my hair has a lot of build up I love to use this shampoo, it gives some shine back to my hair and makes it feel very clean.

I've only got two conditioners in my shower, the first is the Moroccanoil Moisture Repair Conditioner, this is something I use when I want my hair to be extra soft and moisturized. The other conditioner I have if the AG Sterling Silver Conditioner, I don't keep the actual bottle in my shower because I got the jumbo bottle so I refill a travel size bottle and keep that in my shower instead. This is an ok purple conditioner and I only use it when I use my purple shampoo. I really want to switch to the Ion Cool Blonde conditioner but every time I try to buy it, it's always sold out. I'm really hoping to get my hands on it soon but for now the AG is an ok product.

I love a good hair mask, right now I'm in between three great ones. First is another Ion product, it's the Ion Cool Blonde Weekly-Blonde Boosting Treatment. I use this mask once a week and its to help neutralize any brassiness I have in my blonde hair. Then I have the Wella Enrich, this is a moisturizing treatment for fine hair, this makes my hair feel silky soft. I try to use this once a week to give my hair an extra boost of moisture. Finally I have the Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask, this is a mask I use when my hair feels damaged and is in need of some restoring. This mask is for deep hydration and conditioning.

For my face I keep my Shiseido Extra Creamy Cleansing Foam and Clarisonic Plus. I love my Clarisonic, this is by far the best skincare purchase I have ever made. I do like the Shiseido cleanser but I think it works a little too well. By that I mean my skin is squeaky clean after I wash it to the point where it feels a little dried out. I hate wasting product so I'll be finishing off this tube but I'm researching new cleansers to try that are a bit more moisturizing and wont dry out my skin.

Finally for my body I have the Dove Gentle Exfoliating Beauty Bar, I like to use bars instead of liquid soap - I don't know why it's just personal preference. This bar is great because it exfoliates and leaves me with a moisturized cleaned feeling - highly recommended if you are not satisfied with liquid body washers....trust me I've tried so many and nothing compares to this bar. Finally is the Calgon Ageless Bath Softening Body Oil, in addition to switching up my body wash to a bar I've also been using body oil instead of body lotion. I spray this on when I'm still in the shower and then I pat dry with a towel. My skin has been loving the oil more than any lotion I've ever tried! For anyone with dry skin I highly recommend trying this trick out.

That's it for whats in my shower! Share in the comments below what are some must haves in your shower.

Product Empties | June 2016

Bausch + Lomb Bio True - This has popped up in many empties blog posts, this is still the contact solution that I use every single day. This is a great solution and I can also use it as eye drops when my eyes feel dry so I carry a mini one of these in my purse just in case.

Quo Luxury Oval Cotton Pads - Great cotton pads but REALLY expensive. I've stopped buying these, even though they are great cotton pads because of their larger size it has gotten too expensive to be repurchasing these everyday. I've now switched to just the generic Costco brand which are a lot cheaper.

BareMinerals Concealer in Well Rested - This is a great powder that I use to set my under eye concealer. I've been using this for years and I've already repurchased this product. It keeps your concealer from moving and it provides additional coverage.

Dior Creme De Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm - This is a great lip balm but it's again a very expensive product. This lip balm has a slight rosy tint which is great for when I'm not wearing anything else on my lips. I feel that because I use this everyday it runs out so quickly and got really expensive very quickly so I've switched to the Vaseline lip balm that has a rosy tint....it's much cheaper and feeling just as moisturizing.

Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Strength Reconstructing Butter - This is a hair mask that has popped up in the past. I've gone through about five of these but I haven't repurchased it because I've been testing out new hair masks....and so far I haven't found anything that can compare. After using this mask my hair felt very moisturized and soft, I will defiantly be repurchasing this again once I run out of some of the other masks that I have on the go right now.

Tony Moly Bbo Bbo Lip Balm - This is a terrible lip balm, it blistered my lips and left them feel more dry than they actually were before I put the lip balm on. I wont be repurchasing this product.

Wella Permanent Liquid Hair Color 8A(Light Ash Blonde) & 7A (Medium Smokey Ash Blonde) - Yes I color my own hair...I've been coloring my own hair for years and I've found that Wella products work really well with my hair. Right now this is my current hair color, basically I mixed the two together because I wasn't sure of what color blonde I wanted to be. I love the color but next time around I'm just going to go with the 8A, the 7A is a little darker than I wanted to go with my blonde.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo - This is a great dry shampoo. It comes out white but once you rub it in there is no white cast (even on brown hair). My hair feel refreshed and cleaner without washing it. By far this is my favorite dry shampoo at this time, I have already repurchased another one for my daily use.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist - This is not a great hair mask. I felt this dried out my hair and left it feeling like straw. If you are looking for a new hair mask definitely skip this one and grab the Garnier.

May 2016 Monthly Favorites

Loreal True Match Lumi Cushion - Now that summer is here I've been wearing less products and a lighter more dewy foundation. Currently I've been loving this Loreal Lumi Cushion. It's a very lightweight but buildable formula that has a very dewy finish. I will set this foundation with powder, otherwise it wont last long on my face.

YSL All in One BB Creme - Another great summer foundation. I have such a hard time finding a BB creme that will work with my pale skin. This BB creme has their lightest color as "clear", so far this is the best match for my pale skin and it can be layered with the Loreal cushion foundation if I want a heavier coverage.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir - This is a product that I go back and forther on. On the one hand it's really expensive and its just a spritz of moisture...on the other hand when I don't use it I notice a huge difference. Dry skins girls you MUST try this trick. I find that even though I have dry skin I still like to set my foundation with powder so it lasts longer. But if I set it with powder my dry skin will cling to the powder and make me look like I have a cake face....the solution? I will spray my face with this elixir and then while my face is still wet I powder. The powder just seems to melt into my skin giving me an airbrushed look and my foundation will last all day!

Diorshow Iconic Overcurl - I have rediscovered my love for this mascara. This is a little baby sample I got from Sephora and it has made me fall in love with this mascara all over again. It's a great mascara and I find it encourages my lashes to curl...but I will say that it's a pain when I try to remove it.

Z Palette & Makeup Geek Eyeshadows - I've defiantly been wearing less eye makeup with this hot weather we've been having. Lets me honest I would rather spend more time outside and less time inside doing my makeup. My current obsession is to grab one of these smaller z palettes and throwing together a simple eye look. Right now my current obsession is: white lies, peach smoothie, hipster and shimma shimma with Bliss blush. It's the perfect summer look that is very quick to apply.

Infusium 23 Repair & Renew Heat Tamer - With now having blonde hair I'm finding that I have to change up my hair products. My hair has become VERY dry and is VERY damaged. I have been very careful about using less heat and more heat protectors. There is a heat protector in my leave in conditioner I use after the shower but I've also been soaking my hair in this product before I blow dry, straighten or curl my hair. I'm finding that it is really helping me controls any additional breakage and damage that heat causes.

BaByliss Pro Rapido - I have to say this....BEST BLOW DRYER I HAVE EVER USED. I will never again need to buy another blow dryer for as long as this one shall live. This is blow dryer is the first higher performance  professional dryer I have ever owned. It was made in Italy and has an ultra efficient high speed turbo powdered engine designed by Ferrari. Yes I can say that I actually own a Ferrari blow dryer. This dry is very light weight and drys my hair incredibly fast. Normally I could never dry my hair in one sitting because I would have to use the hottest setting and it would still take about 30min to dry it....my hair would be extremely dry and damaged by the time I was done. Now I use the lowest heat setting and I can dry my hair under 10min! My hair is left feeling soft and luxurious. Normally I would never spend this much on a blow dryer but I feel like this is going to last me a very long time so it is well worth that money.

What where your May favorites?
